Private Tattoo Studio
Welcome to the private studio of Jake Llewellyn. I specialize in custom illustrative and blackwork tattooing, combining classic fine-line craftsmanship with modern precision. Every design is built to respect your body's natural contours and stand the test of time.
Signature Artwork
Detailed botanical sleeve cascading down a forearm.
I believe that getting a tattoo should be an empowering, stress-free experience. That starts with complete clarity on how I work, how much it costs, and what we expect from each other. No hidden fees, no gatekeeping—just clear communication.
Refining illustrative blackwork techniques in a dedicated, private studio environment.
Individually tailored pieces designed specifically to fit unique body contours.
Never repeated, never copied. Built exclusively for your personal narrative.
I do not copy other artists' designs or chase fleeting internet trends. Every tattoo I perform is either drawn specifically for your body or selected from my catalog of original, one-of-a-kind flash sheets.
Your physical and emotional comfort is my priority. My studio is a quiet, private, and sterile environment. All skin tones, body types, and identities are met with respect, warmth, and professional care.
I balance delicate linework with bold, structural black placement. This ensures that your tattoo remains crisp, legible, and beautiful as your skin naturally ages over the decades.
100% disposable single-use tools, disinfected continuously.
My studio operates under strict health guidelines. Every single surface, power supply, and machine is chemical-barrier wrapped and thoroughly disinfected between every single client. I use only 100% single-use, sterile disposable needles and cartridges.
This is a body-positive, safe, and welcoming space for people of all skin tones, sizes, gender identities, and backgrounds. Discrimination, disrespect, or non-consensual behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited in the studio.
True quality in tattooing is measured by how a piece heals. Browse a curated archive of my custom illustrative and blackwork projects. Use the filters below to view fresh sessions or see how these designs settle beautifully into the skin years down the road.
A custom thigh piece exploring classical woodcut shading and organic form flow. Specifically designed to adapt to the movement of the leg muscle while maintaining visual clarity from a distance.
Delicate eucalyptus and fern fronds climbing the spine. Soft tones and fine-line detailing settle beautifully, mirroring the spine's natural curvature.
A heavy-contrast, graphic forearm piece emphasizing deep solid blacks and dynamic stippling texture. Built for maximum longevity and high-impact readability.
Symmetrical chest placement utilizing dot-work gradients and dark solid wings. A study in sacred geometry and organic symmetry.
A cracked classical sculpture face intertwined with detailed ivy leaves. Merges heavy illustrative cross-hatching with delicate botanical elements.
A detailed celestial map featuring astrological alignments and ultra-fine coordinate lines. Proves that fine-line details can stay crisp for years with proper depth control.

These rules are designed to protect both the integrity of the artwork and your comfort. Please read them carefully before submitting an inquiry.
To lock in your appointment date, a deposit is required. This deposit is not an extra fee—it goes directly toward the final price of your tattoo on the day of your session.
I understand that life happens. You may reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours before your session without losing your deposit. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 72 hours of your slot will forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to book again.
To protect artistic integrity and prevent design theft, custom drawings are shown in person on the day of your appointment. We set aside plenty of time at the beginning of the session to make minor adjustments to the layout, sizing, and details together.

Whether you want a custom illustrative design mapped perfectly to your skin, or wish to claim a retired design from the pre-drawn catalog, we start with the booking form.
A great tattoo is a collaborative effort. My job is to execute a clean, precise application in a sterile environment. Your job is to prepare your body beforehand and protect the art as it heals. Follow this guide to ensure your illustrative piece heals beautifully.
Taking care of your body prior to the session ensures optimal skin canvas quality, higher pain tolerance, and a smoother process overall.
Drink plenty of water the day before your appointment. Eat a hearty, protein-rich meal 2 hours before you arrive. Low blood sugar significantly lowers your pain tolerance.
Get a full 8 hours of sleep the night before. Being tired makes long sessions much harder to manage.
Do not consume alcohol, aspirin, or ibuprofen for 24 hours before your session. These thin your blood, which causes excess bleeding and pushes ink out of the skin during application.
Wear loose, comfortable, dark clothing that easily exposes the area being tattooed. Expect that ink may get on your clothes, so choose items you do not mind staining.
Mild redness, swelling, and tenderness are normal for the first 3 to 4 days. However, if you experience spreading redness, extreme heat radiating from the tattoo, yellow discharge, or a fever, contact me immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
